Frances is a qualified solicitor with an extensive background in local government and Further and Higher Education.
Prior to the last 5 years as CEO and Principal of North East Surrey College of Technology, Frances was CEO of Epsom and Ewell Borough Council for 9 years.
Frances has served on a number of high profile boards, including the Local Enterprise Partnership, Coast to Capital and is currently a trustee for Community Foundation Surrey and a trustee for Watts Gallery, Compton.
As a Deputy Lieutenant for Surrey, Frances chairs the Lord Lieutenants Business Group, actively advocating for skills for young people and business.
In addition to being a leadership mentor for Human Alchemy, Frances is also a Further Education Commissioner appointed CEO mentor, associate partner at Dodd Partners (C Suite recruitment), a director of OnPoint Data (legal services to property lawyers) and co-founder of FutureMakers, a CEO peer development programme.
